Ex-Treasurer of Volunteer Touchdown Club Faces Indictment for Alleged Embezzlement

CHURCH HILL, Tenn. (WJHL) — A former treasurer of the Volunteer Touchdown Club (VTC) faces theft charges after an inquiry by the Tennessee Comptroller’s Office uncovered over $16,000 in suspicious transactions from the club’s PayPal account.

Brittany Clawson has been indicted on accusations of making six unauthorized transfers totaling $3,276.82 from the VTC PayPal account to her personal one. It is alleged that these funds were subsequently moved to a personal bank account that has no ties to VTC activities.
