Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury could be poised to earn as much as £5million from their wedding journey.
The couple, who are both 24, shared their engagement news on Sunday after Tommy proposed during a romantic ceremony in Ibiza.
Already believed to have a combined fortune of £8.2million, the pair are expected to significantly boost their wealth through magazine exclusives, lucrative brand partnerships and possible reality TV projects — following a path previously taken by other Love Island stars.
Olivia and Alex Bowen, as well as Olivia Attwood, have all turned their weddings into major media moments, fronting reality shows and selling coverage of their big days to magazines. Brand and culture expert Nick Ede believes Molly-Mae and Tommy are now entering what could be “a golden time” commercially.
Speaking to MailOnline, Nick said the couple stand to make millions from their engagement, with opportunities ranging from a publication deal for their wedding to a filmed reality series, product placement and endorsements. He estimated they could generate around £5million from the announcement and the events that follow.

She has since quit the role.
Molly-Mae has made bumper profits via her company MMH Group Holdings and her self-tanning business Filter.
She added to her cash pot with her memoir released back in June – Becoming Molly-Mae – which sold at a cost of £20 and bulked up her fortune by £2million during the pandemic. The star is also a brand ambassador for Beauty Works.
