Gatorade’s newest commercial brings together some of the biggest names across professional sports.
Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic takes center stage in the campaign, joined by a star-studded lineup that includes WNBA standout Caitlin Clark, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and Minnesota Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson.
“The future belongs to those who hydrate,” Gatorade said in an Instagram post promoting the ad.
The 2026-27 campaign shapes up as a defining one for Doncic, who is set to become the Lakers’ unquestioned leader after LeBron James left during the offseason. As training camp nears, expectations for Los Angeles will largely fall on the 27-year-old superstar.
Doncic has already taken steps to embrace that responsibility, hosting the full Lakers roster in Slovenia for a four-day minicamp. The trip offered an opportunity to build chemistry on the court while also helping unite a team reshaped by a major offseason overhaul.

Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka spent the summer rebuilding the roster for the franchise’s post-LeBron future. While uncertainty still surrounds the new-look group, Doncic will command the spotlight as Los Angeles begins its next era.
His leading role in Gatorade’s campaign underscores Doncic’s standing as a global sports figure. Still, the Lakers star must now show Los Angeles that he can pair that influence with an MVP-level season in purple and gold.
