When Fallon asked whether he meant that seriously, the Top Gun star did not hesitate. “For real,” Cruise said, adding that Swift was “bringing the football.”
“First of all, she’s a genius,” Cruise continued. “I’ve been following her since she was a kid.” He also praised Swift and Kelce as a couple, describing the people gathered in the suite as friends and calling the atmosphere “magical in their own right.”
For the 64-year-old movie star, the Chiefs game was especially memorable because it marked his first time attending an NFL contest in years.
“I hadn’t been to a football game since pre-Covid, where I was working and everything,” he explained. “So to get to hang out there and have that moment, it was a lot of fun. She knows her stuff.”
