Kim Kardashian Wins Protective Restraining Order Against Stalker

Kim Kardashian has secured a protective restraining order covering her children after an alleged stalker sent Plan B to the family’s Hidden Hills mansion in 2021.

The 45-year-old reality TV star asked a judge in July to extend her restraining order against Nicholas Costanza and include her four children in the protection, according to TMZ.

The request was approved at a September 10 court hearing. Kardashian, the founder of SKIMS, was recently hospitalized with a condition tied to the disease that claimed the life of her father, Robert Kardashian.

The updated restraining order protects Kardashian’s children, North, 13, Saint, 10, Chicago, eight, and Psalm, seven, whom she shares with her former husband Kanye West.

According to the outlet, the order will remain in place for five years and is set to expire on August 3, 2031.

Kardashian’s legal team sought the extension in July as the previous order was nearing its expiration date.

The television personality requested an extension of her restraining order against Nicholas Costanza in July, seeking protections for all four of her children as well, TMZ reported

TMZ reported that Kardashian’s attorneys said Costanza’s conduct, including what they described as “delusional beliefs, anger and obsession,” had not changed.

Her lawyers also alleged that he violated the restraining order by sending messages to the star.

In one instance that occurred in 2024, Costanza had broken into a home that he claimed he had bought himself, per the outlet. He then asked Kardashian to go to the house with her four kids.

The Daily Mail has reached out to a rep for Kardashian and her lawyers for comment, but has yet to hear back.

Back in October 2021, Costanza was arrested after he trespassed at her Hidden Hills property despite the five-year restraining order at the time.

Security detained him and police were called to the scene before taking the man into custody, TMZ had reported.

Costanza was then booked on felony charges at the time, and ordered to stay at least 100 yards from the reality star with no contact.

He was additionally held on $150,000 bail.

The restraining order was first granted in 2021 after he sent a diamond ring as well as Plan B to her home.

Costanza had also been accused of threatening and harassing Kardashian as well as her family.

The Kardashians are no strangers to other similar incidents.

Last month in August, the Kardashian family was granted a permanent restraining order against a ‘stalker’ who was ‘obsessed’ with Kylie Jenner.

A man named Kyle Robert DeWick was accused of multiple unwanted visits to Jenner’s residence in 2021 before his arrest for trespassing.

But momager Kris Jenner said that in recent months, DeWick had been attempting once again to ‘get close to’ the A-list family.

A temporary restraining order had been granted back in May, but has since been extended, per court documents obtained by The Daily Mail.

The order is set to expire in three years on July 31, 2029.

Aside from recently receiving an extension for the restraining order, which now includes her four children, it was revealed this week that Kardashian was hospitalized.

In a new trailer for season eight of The Kardashians, the All’s Fair actress was seen resting in a hospital bed.

The mom-of-four was hospitalized due to esophagitis.

It can cause ‘swelling and irritation, called inflammation, of the tissues that line the esophagus,’ per the Mayo Clinic

The medical condition can result in ‘painful, difficult swallowing. It also can lead to chest pain’ as well as ‘other serious health issues.’

Kardashian’s father passed away at the age of 59 in 2003 following a battle with esophageal cancer.

‘I have something called esophagitis,’ Kardashian said from the hospital bed, as a close pal then asked if the condition is the same one that her father had.

Her mother Kris Jenner then emotionally said: ‘I can’t, it makes me want to cry.’

The forthcoming season is slated to premiere on both Hulu and Disney+ on October 8.
