A Georgia family searching for a missing delivery driver made a horrific discovery this week: 26-year-old Shanteria Mosley had been dismembered, with her remains placed in a plastic tub and trash bags.
Mosley, who police said worked as a DoorDash driver, left her Atlanta home Wednesday morning and did not return. Investigators said she was not logged into the app or accepting deliveries when she disappeared.
Worried about her safety, Mosley’s relatives tracked her phone to the Park Valley Apartments complex in Smyrna.
Family members searched the woods and grassy areas near the complex before finding Mosley’s car and contacting police, her aunt Michelle Weaver told 11Alive News.
Weaver said responding officers did not remain at the scene for long, leaving after knocking on the doors of three men.
The family continued searching, according to 11Alive. When they returned to Mosley’s vehicle, they noticed a man watching them from an apartment window.
Relatives went to the apartment and knocked on the door. The man told them he had not seen anyone leave Mosley’s car.
Weaver later saw the same man, identified by police as 18-year-old Kingston Bradley, carrying what appeared to be a laundry bag with a plastic tub inside. She said Bradley dropped the bag before fleeing.

Mosley’s torso was discovered by her family inside a plastic tub that Bradley had been carrying.
Authorities have not said whether Mosley and Bradley knew each other or why Mosley went to the Smyrna apartment complex.
“All we see is the boy,” Weaver said, according to 11Alive.
“Throwing a bag, like something with a cloth. It’s like a bag kind of cloth, like maybe a laundry bag, and it had like a container in it. He kind of threw it and he ran.”
Mosley’s relatives then found her dismembered torso inside the container.
Police arrested Bradley after finding blood stains and a large saw covered in blood inside his apartment.
Investigators also reported finding a mop bucket, a mop, a carpet cleaner and the smell of bleach inside the residence.
On Friday, police said they searched a vehicle under a warrant and discovered garbage bags in the trunk.
“One garbage bag was pulled tightly, showing the outline of a body part.”
“Based on the information we have at this time, we do believe the victim to be Shanteria Mosley, known as ‘KT’ by her friends and family.”
Smyrna Police Lieutenant Meredith Holt said: “This is a particularly gruesome crime. I can’t imagine what the family is going through.”
‘I know that they are looking for answers and grieving at the same time. We’re continuing to work this case.’
Bradley was charged with concealing the death of another and murder and is being held without bond.
The 18-year-old has a history of violence, according to 11 Alive News.
In a case dating back to December 2024, Bradley was charged with two counts of terroristic threats, battery, simple battery and criminal trespass-damage to property following an alleged fight with his father.
Warrants and an indictment in that case allege Bradley hit his father with an Xbox controller, broke down his bedroom door and smashed a window when he pushed ‘a 15-year-old male juvenile into the window.’
The terroristic threats charge arose from Bradley allegedly ‘suggesting the death’ of his father, according to the indictment.
The case was indicted in February. Bradley, who was treated as a juvenile defendant, was released from jail on a $3,500 bond.
His bond conditions included no alcohol or drug consumption, no firearms and no further violent contact with either his father or the juvenile who was pushed into the window.
Another court filing stated that Bradley was pursuing admission for inpatient mental health treatment.
Bradley pleaded not guilty at an April arraignment. He is scheduled for a calendar call on October 6.

Bradley’s father, Ken Williams, addressed the allegations against his son.
First and foremost I’m sending my deepest condolences to the family of the young lady and her family,’ Williams wrote in a Facebook post.
‘Kingston has been dealing with mental illness for the past 6 years. Everyone who knows me knows that I work 10-12 hours daily. If I’m not at my regular job I’m somewhere doing a side job.’
‘Like you I have many questions as to the specifics of what happened, when and where. What I can say for certain is that I had no involvement with this incident nor had any knowledge of the incident,’ Williams said, claiming that he did not know the victim or her family prior to the killing.
Williams also added that he is cooperating with detectives and ‘not on the run.’
Authorities are still investigating whether or not Bradley and Mosley knew each other.
When asked how she wants her niece to be remembered, Weaver said: ‘With her smiles, laughter, and just full of joy, and talking crap to everybody, and just being happy, cheering everybody day up.’
