Jonathan True is facing multiple charges, including two counts of felony murder and one count of malice murder, in the shooting death of 48-year-old Roy Harris II.
GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. — Police say a suspect has been arrested after a 48-year-old man was fatally shot in Glynn County on Friday night.
Jonathan True, 47, faces two counts of felony murder, one count of malice murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm during the commission of certain crimes, according to the Glynn County Police Department.
Officers were called to the area of Old Cypress Mill Road at about 9:36 p.m. Friday, GCPD said. Responding officers and paramedics found Roy Harris II, of Brunswick, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives and crime scene investigators arrived soon afterward to collect evidence and process the area as part of the homicide investigation, police said.
As investigators worked to determine what happened, detectives interviewed True and several witnesses. Police said True was arrested after those interviews and charged in connection with Harris’ death.
The investigation is still active, according to GCPD.
