The brand’s first seasonal flavor transforms its familiar ranch dressing with a dramatic black hue and a glow-in-the-dark bottle made for Halloween parties. Beneath the spooky appearance, however, it’s the same classic ranch flavor fans know—although the unusual color may prompt guests to take a second look before dipping.

There’s no mystery behind the color: Hidden Valley says it comes from fruit juice and cocoa, with no artificial flavors added. In other words, it’s ordinary ranch dressing in a Halloween costume.
