Mother Allegedly Stabs Husband, Toddler and 10-Month-Old Baby

Two young children and their father are recovering in a hospital after a Texas mother allegedly stabbed them inside the family’s Northlake home Tuesday, investigators said.

Holly Leeann Flores, 37, is accused of attacking her children—a 10-month-old baby and a 3-year-old toddler—before their father attempted to intervene, according to investigators.

The 34-year-old father called 911 early Tuesday and reported that his wife had a knife and had stabbed him. Responding officers found both children suffering from stab wounds to the chest area.

“Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1200 block of Daylily Drive regarding a stabbing in progress,” police said.

Flores’ husband was reportedly stabbed in the head and treated for a “non-life-threatening” injury, FOX 4 reported.

The father and both children were taken to the hospital and are expected to recover.

The New York Post reported that the Northlake Police Department had responded to the family’s home five times since March over “welfare concerns.”

Jail records show Flores is charged with two counts of attempted aggravated capital murder of a person younger than 10 and one count of aggravated assault with a weapon.
