A Delta Air Lines flight from New York was evacuated Tuesday after landing at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport following a reported bomb threat.
Passengers were escorted into the terminal while security teams searched the aircraft, according to the Jerusalem Post.
Authorities had been alerted to a possible explosive device onboard the Airbus A330. After completing a search, investigators determined that the threat was unfounded.
“The incident has ended with no unusual findings. Operations have returned to normal,” an Israel Airports Authority spokesperson told Ynet.
Delta runs a daily service between John F. Kennedy International Airport and Tel Aviv. The flight departed JFK shortly after 3:30 p.m. Monday and arrived in Israel at approximately 8:30 a.m. local time.

The number of passengers and crew members aboard the flight was not immediately clear.
The security incident occurred nearly two weeks after flydubai co-pilot Hamam al-Hammami, described as a “lone wolf,” allegedly attacked pilot Smit Machchhar and attempted to hijack a flight bound for Tel Aviv.
The Post has contacted Delta for comment.
