It’s shaping up to be a major weekend for Paramount+. Alongside the latest episode of MobLand—Season 2, Episode 5, “Birdland”—viewers can finally enjoy the return of Sylvester Stallone’s hit crime drama Tulsa King.
There’s even more good news for fans of both series: Paramount+ has already renewed MobLand for Season 3 and Tulsa King for Season 5. The next chapter of Tulsa King will relocate the action to New York, making the upcoming season particularly exciting.
Unfortunately, Landman won’t be joining them with new episodes this week. Taylor Sheridan’s popular drama is currently being filmed for Season 3, but fans shouldn’t expect its return in 2026.
So when will Landman Season 3 arrive on Paramount+? Here’s what we know about the show’s renewal, production timeline, cast and likely release window.
Is Landman Airing a New Episode This Week?
Sadly, the answer is no. The Season 2 finale of Landman premiered on Paramount+ on January 18, 2026, and the series is not returning with new episodes this week.
Will Landman Be Back For Season 3?
The outlook for the future is much brighter. Following the immense success of Season 2, Paramount renewed Landman for a third season.
Is Billy Bob Thornton Being Replaced in Landman?
And no, Tommy isn’t going anywhere. Billy Bob Thornton will return to lead the cast when Landman comes back for Season 3.
When Does The New Season Of Landman Come Out?
Paramount+ has not revealed an official premiere date yet, but production on Season 3 began earlier this month in Fort Worth, Texas.

Filming is expected to continue through early 2027. Based on that schedule, the best estimate is that Landman Season 3 will premiere on Paramount+ sometime in the middle or latter half of 2027.
