Gypsy Rose Blanchard Involved in Car Crash Near Ken Urker’s Louisiana Home

Gypsy Rose Blanchard has encountered another troubling development.

Two weeks after the death of Jen Urker, the 35-year-old was involved in a minor car crash in Louisiana on Oct. 17.

“Louisiana State Police Troop C investigated a non-injury minor damage crash that occurred in Terrebonne Parish,” a police spokesperson told Oxygen. “No arrests were made as a result of the crash.”

Blanchard declined to comment on the incident.

The crash happened near the Raceland home where Urker—who shared a 21-month-old daughter, Aurora, with Blanchard—was found dead.

Authorities responding to the residence on Oct. 1, which was also Urker’s 34th birthday, found him “cold to the touch” and surrounded by drug paraphernalia and a gun, according to an incident report.

“The handgun on the nightstand was holstered laying next to two shot glasses and a syringe,” the report stated. “Nothing else inside of the bedroom appeared to be disturbed or moved.”

Urker’s official cause of death has not been made public. Blanchard has suggested that he may have died from a drug overdose.

“I don’t know if it was intentional or not,” she told People in an interview published Oct. 2. “He was not in a good state of mind lately.”

Blanchard also said Urker had been under intense public scrutiny because of their relationship.

“The cruelty directed toward him was something no human being should have to endure,” she told the outlet. “I believe the tremendous weight of that scrutiny and harassment had a profound impact on him, and I hope his passing serves as a reminder that there is a real person behind every screen, every headline, and every comment.”

Despite the painful circumstances, Blanchard said their final exchange was a lighthearted one.

“During one of our exchanges, I decided to surprise him with Burger King,” Blanchard told Page Six Oct. 10. “I pretended to be a DoorDash driver and left his food outside his door.

Following a September food delivery, Urker thanked Blanchard for the thoughtful gesture.

Blanchard showed the outlet a screenshot of her reply, which read, “You may leave me a five star review,” alongside a photo of the food left at his door.

“Omg ur so crazy lol,” Urker responded. “Even got me a Hershey pie.”

“Looking back, I’m grateful that one of my final memories of Ken was something lighthearted, thoughtful, and filled with kindness,” she told the Post. “Sometimes it’s the smallest moments that become the most precious memories. I will carry that one with me forever.”
