A Brooklyn man allegedly launched into a drunken, racist and profanity-laced outburst aboard a Delta flight bound for Atlanta, prompting police to remove him from the aircraft before it took off from New York City.
Jerome Anixter, 60, was escorted from Delta Flight 2342 by Port Authority police officers at about 1:30 p.m. Thursday following the alleged onboard meltdown, law enforcement sources told The Post.
Officers were called to the plane after receiving reports that an apparently intoxicated passenger was causing a disturbance as the aircraft prepared to depart from John F. Kennedy International Airport in Queens, according to the sources.
Video reportedly recorded by a fellow passenger shows the unruly traveler shouting a racial slur and yelling, “Can you believe these mother f–kers?!” as Port Authority officers led him off the plane.
The footage was posted on X by @thenewsjunkie. The account said the passenger who recorded it claimed the man also shouted “Death to America” and mimicked shooting at other travelers.
The Post could not immediately verify that the man shown in the video was Anixter, although the flight information seen in the footage matched details provided by sources.

“Delta has zero tolerance for disruptive behavior, and we thank law enforcement for their assistance in removing this unruly customer,” an airline spokesperson said in a statement to The Post.
“We apologize to the customers on Delta flight DL2342 for this experience and any delay in their travels.”
The Atlanta-bound flight carried 160 passengers and six crew members. It ultimately left JFK 45 minutes behind schedule after the incident.
Sources said Anixter was arrested after being removed from the aircraft and charged with assault, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration.
It was not immediately known what prompted the alleged outburst aboard the Delta flight.
The Post contacted Anixter for comment.
