Professional wrestler Amber Nova was arrested in Florida on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to court records.
Nova, whose legal name is Amber Flora, was stopped at about 12:45 a.m. on Oct. 23 while driving an orange, two-door Chevrolet sedan on L.B. McLeod Road in Orlando, an arrest complaint obtained by Oxygen says.
An Orlando police officer reportedly saw the car moving “at a high rate of speed,” drifting within its lane and stopping over a crosswalk at an intersection. The officer then initiated a traffic stop, authorities said.
“As I approached the vehicle, I immediately detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from within the vehicle,” an officer wrote in the complaint. The officer also said Nova’s eyes appeared “watery and glassy.”
The 34-year-old wrestler initially told police she had been at a bar with friends. According to the complaint, she later said she had not entered any bars and had only driven past them, before telling officers she had attended “house parties.”
An officer also noted that Nova was wearing a “green wrist ticket” from a venue known to serve alcoholic beverages.
When asked whether she had been drinking, Nova first denied consuming alcohol, the officer wrote. She later said she had drunk red wine while cooking at home, initially reporting one glass before acknowledging that she had consumed more than one.
During the traffic stop, Nova “repeatedly asked” the officer to follow her home to make sure she arrived safely, saying she lived about two miles away, according to court documents.

Nova agreed to take a series of field sobriety tests, including the horizontal gaze nystagmus, walk-and-turn and one-legged-stand exercises. Officers said her speech was slow and that she appeared unsteady on her feet.
“Based on the totality of the circumstances, I established probable cause to believe that the Defendant was in actual physical control of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcoholic beverages and/or chemical substances to the extent that her normal faculties were impaired,” the officer wrote. Nova was then handcuffed and arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
At a DUI testing center, Nova allegedly refused multiple times to provide a sample for a blood alcohol test, authorities said.
She faces charges of driving under the influence and refusing to submit to a blood alcohol level test.
Court records do not list an attorney for Nova, and it remains unclear whether she has retained legal counsel. Oxygen reported that it contacted Nova but had not received an immediate response.
Nova was released the morning of her arrest after posting $1,000 bail, TMZ reported.
She has appeared on Impact Wrestling and WWE’s NXT and also won the SHINE Nova Championship in 2023. Her profile on X also lists her as an American muscle mechanic and former EMT.
