Halloween Attraction Nightmare Prompts Search for More Potential Victims; 1 Arrested

Investigators are asking anyone with information to come forward amid concerns that more people may have been victimized by an alleged serial sex offender who attacked a woman at a popular Halloween attraction.

Edward Eisenhard, 38, faces multiple charges after Bucks County, Pennsylvania, prosecutors accused him of sexually assaulting three female victims, including one who was younger than 12.

“There are real monsters in the world,” District Attorney Joe Khan said at a news conference Tuesday.

Khan described Eisenhard as a “highly dangerous recidivistic sex offender.”

One of the alleged attacks occurred at Valley of Fear, a haunted hayride attraction in Feasterville, Pennsylvania.

Prosecutors allege that Eisenhard strangled and sexually assaulted a coworker during a break while he was working at the attraction.

According to a criminal complaint, Eisenhard approached the employee while she was working alone on September 25, the attraction’s opening night. He allegedly “grabbed the victim tightly by her throat to the point that she had difficulty breathing, pinned both of her wrists above her head against a wall, made sexual comments, and indecently assaulted her over her clothing.”

Valley of Fear fired Eisenhard the following day. Two days later, he allegedly assaulted the same victim at Five Below in Hilltown Township, where he also worked.

The woman told investigators that Eisenhard, her supervisor, restrained and sexually assaulted her while she was cleaning the store’s back stockroom.

Police arrested him on October 1.

Investigators say that before those incidents, Eisenhard had “repeatedly” abused and sexually assaulted a victim younger than 12 at a home in Springfield Township.

Detectives from the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office uncovered additional allegations involving both of Eisenhard’s workplaces and “strongly believe that there are additional victims.”

Eisenhard remains jailed after failing to post bail following his initial arrest.

The charges were upgraded Thursday, and the district attorney’s office is seeking to have him held without bail.
