Crown prosecutors read several witness statements to the court on Thursday.
One statement came from police officer Kye Richards, who was working at Bondi Police Station on February 22, 2024.
Mr Richards said he answered a call from a man at 6.39pm.
The caller said: ‘Hi, it’s Beau Lamarre from Youth Command, I just want to let a detective or sergeant know that I’m not avoiding them.’
Mr Richards asked him to repeat Lamarre-Condon’s name.
The caller continued: ‘They came to my house earlier, I thought it might be about a complaint about me, but I’m not avoiding them, just tell them I’ll come in tomorrow.’
About 30 minutes later, Mr Richards informed two detectives at the station about the call.
The detectives appeared interested and went upstairs to make further enquiries.
Lamarre-Condon was arrested after attending the station on February 23, 2024.
The court also heard statements from Bunnings staff, a cleaner and other police officers.
Two witnesses said they worked with Beau Lamarre-Condon’s friend, whose identity cannot be disclosed for legal reasons.

Lamarre-Condon took the same friend shopping for a surfboard bag before later arriving at his workplace and allegedly saying, ‘I’ve killed people.’ He also allegedly asked the friend to take the day off and help clean up the bodies.
The friend told the court earlier this week that he immediately went inside, informed his superiors about what Lamarre-Condon had allegedly said and sought advice on how to respond.
He told Lamarre-Condon he had an important meeting and could not take the day off.
One of the friend’s superiors told the court on Thursday that she had been concerned by how quickly the pair became close.
She said their friendship developed within a few months of them beginning to work together.
The friend was 21 years old and was not a police officer.
The superior said the friend appeared highly distressed on the day of the alleged murders, prompting her concern.
Another witness described the friend as vulnerable and said he had received social support as a teenager.
He recalled that the friend was extremely distressed on the day of the alleged murders.
The witness said the friend didn’t know what to tell Lamarre-Condon, so he suggested saying there was an important meeting he couldn’t get out of.
The friend didn’t help Lamarre-Condon clean up the alleged murder scene.
