Guthrie opened the Oct. 30 Halloween broadcast with a nod to NBCUniversal history, transforming into a Page from the company’s nearly 100-year-old early-career program.

As for the former TRL host, Daly went country with an Ella Langley tribute. Wearing the singer’s signature bangs and a red, Western-inspired outfit, he lip-synced his way through her record-breaking hit with impressive precision.
The music-loving former DJ said the performance felt like the perfect choice, explaining to TODAY.com, “She’s a huge breakout star, I’m a music guy and I thought this would be a lot of fun to do.”
Daly wasn’t the only anchor stepping into the shoes of a music icon. Melvin brought the energy as Snoop Dogg in a Team USA uniform, while Snoop’s real-life best friend, Martha Stewart, made a special appearance to cheer on his Today lookalike.
