As October draws to a close and the nation approaches its second midterm election under President Donald Trump, Attorney General Todd Blanche has taken a personal role in four small-scale voter fraud prosecutions in Nevada, according to federal court records.

Between Oct. 23 and Oct. 29, Jullie Ann Sumalinog Moore, Khalida Safi, Moneir Elzobier Ali Yousif and Mlebinge Riziki Ramadhani were each charged with a misdemeanor count of voting by an alien under 18 U.S.C. §611, according to federal court filings.

The allegations, each filed as a separate case, were first reported by All Rise News Editor-in-Chief Adam Klasfeld.

Each charging document carries an unusual signature: Attorney General Todd Blanche, once President Trump’s personal attorney, is listed at the top.

Blanche’s direct involvement may reflect the administration’s still-evolving approach to leading Justice Department posts, including its uncertain strategy for proceeding without Senate confirmation.

Nevada, however, may present a separate explanation.

The high-profile voter fraud cases arrive shortly after a damaging setback for the Trump administration’s broader claims about noncitizen voting.

Earlier this year, the Department of Homeland Security said Nevada’s voter rolls included roughly 16,000 noncitizens. Officials later reduced that figure to 185 alleged noncitizens over the summer. Nevada authorities ultimately concluded that all 185 were citizens.
