Kimberly Guilfoyle has quietly returned to the United States after leaving her diplomatic post in Greece and is now staying with her former husband in Florida, the Daily Mail has learned.
The 57-year-old was removed from her position as US ambassador to Greece last month after a series of controversies, including the disclosure of a text message in which she allegedly asked Trump donor Eric Deters to cover a $100,000 American Express bill.
Guilfoyle and her attorney have said the message was generated by artificial intelligence and maintained that Deters owed her the money. Deters has rejected those claims and filed a defamation lawsuit.
The former Fox News personality remained at the US ambassador’s official Athens residence, Jefferson House, for almost three weeks as the controversy unfolded. She eventually left the property and flew back to the US on October 30.
Since arriving in Florida, Guilfoyle has reportedly been living with her second ex-husband, businessman Eric Villency, 51. The former couple share a 20-year-old son, Ronan.
‘It makes sense that Eric would support Kim,’ an insider told the Daily Mail. ‘They have a son together, and that has always kept them connected.
‘There is also real affection between them – something that was not the case with [Guilfoyle’s first husband and former California governor] Gavin Newsom.’
Guilfoyle now faces a period of uncertainty, with finding a new home likely to be among her immediate priorities. She was recently bought out of the $8.5 million, six-bedroom Florida mansion she once shared with her former fiancé, Donald Trump Jr.

The Daily Mail reported exclusively in September 2024 that Don Jr was involved with socialite Bettina Anderson, now 39, while he was still formally engaged to Guilfoyle.
After Donald Trump won the presidency, Guilfoyle was swiftly offered the ambassadorial position in Greece. The appointment moved her away from Palm Beach while allowing her to remain part of Trump’s political orbit.
‘Kimberly was thrilled to become ambassador to Greece,’ the source said. ‘It was a role that suited her in many ways.
‘But the appointment did not erase the pain of Don Jr’s betrayal – or the view held by some that sending her abroad helped him avoid facing her anger.’
Now that Guilfoyle has been formally pushed out, however, that arrangement has ended. One insider told the Daily Mail: ‘Kimberly has plenty of grievances to air.’
Deters is reportedly one of the people on that list, after the leaked messages became central to the controversy surrounding her departure.
‘The publication of those texts was deeply humiliating for her. Nobody knows what she may do next,’ the insider said.
But Don Jr and Anderson are said to be at the top of Guilfoyle’s list. And, according to those familiar with the situation, this is not the first time she has confronted a romantic rival.
Without a diplomatic post or a current partner, Guilfoyle is now considering what direction to take next

Don Jr paid Guilfoyle $8.5 million for her stake in the waterfront Jupiter, Florida, mansion they purchased while they were together
‘From the beginning, she made no secret of how she felt about Bettina,’ the source said.
The Daily Mail previously reported that Guilfoyle told friends she believed Anderson had sent bikini photographs of herself to the publication. Sources also claimed in June that Guilfoyle had worked with Anderson’s former partner, William ‘Beau’ Wrigley, in an alleged effort to break up the couple.
‘When Don and Bettina began seeing each other, Kimberly and Beau joined forces in an attempt to end the relationship,’ a source familiar with the matter told the Daily Mail over the summer.
‘It was an extraordinary alliance, to put it mildly.’
Those reported efforts failed. Don Jr and Anderson married in the Caribbean over the summer, while Guilfoyle’s own romantic prospects have so far failed to develop.
‘Kimberly is determined not to look like she has lost,’ said another source close to both former couples.
‘She is extremely jealous of Bettina and has worked hard to ensure she is photographed or seen with wealthy, influential men.’
Guilfoyle may now find herself navigating an uncomfortable reunion with her former fiancé and his new wife as she re-enters Florida’s social scene. She does, however, have the support of Villency, whom she praised during an interview with Greek television last November.
‘I have a fantastic relationship with Eric Villency, my son’s father,’ she told broadcaster ANTI.

‘It has been a wonderful experience. We have two decades of friendship.’
That long-standing relationship is now providing support as Guilfoyle finds herself largely separated from the MAGA political circle she once occupied.
People close to her say the change has been impossible to miss.
‘Kim cannot be pleased with the president’s abrupt decision or with what she sees as a failure to stand by her,’ the insider told the Daily Mail.
‘She gave so much of herself to helping him win re-election. Where is the appreciation? Where is the loyalty?’
The Daily Mail has contacted Guilfoyle for comment.
