Quentin Tarantino’s elusive supercut, Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, finally made its theatrical debut last year. For those who missed catching it on the big screen, there’s good news—it will soon be available for home viewing.

As reported by Apple TV and highlighted by Screen Rant, the digital release of Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair is scheduled for February 17. Fans can pre-order this cinematic experience for $19.99. This version represents Tarantino’s original vision for his fourth film, offering audiences the chance to experience it as he intended.

Initially, Tarantino envisioned Kill Bill as a singular epic. However, with a runtime exceeding four hours, Miramax urged him to divide the film into two parts, leading to the releases of Volume 1 in October 2003 and Volume 2 in April 2004.

Kill Bill’s Lengthy Runtime Is to Blame for Its Original 2-Volume Release

Tarantino originally conceived and produced Kill Bill as a single film. However, due to its four-hour-plus runtime, Miramax convinced the filmmaker to split the movie into two volumes, which were released in theaters in October 2003 and April 2004.

While The Whole Bloody Affair only just received a wide theatrical release last December, the movie was finished in 2006, having its world premiere at that year’s Cannes Film Festival. The supercut was then vaulted until 2011, when it played at the New Beverly Cinema, and then again until 2024, when it received a limited run at Vista Theater. Both Los Angeles theaters are owned by Tarantino.

“Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair unites Volume 1 and Volume 2 into a single, unrated epic—presented exactly as he intended, complete with a new, never-before-seen anime sequence,” reads the synopsis for the movie.

“Uma Thurman stars as The Bride, left for dead after her former boss and lover Bill ambushes her wedding rehearsal, shooting her in the head and stealing her unborn child. To exact her vengeance, she must first hunt down the four remaining members of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad before confronting Bill himself,” the synopsis continues.

“With its operatic scope, relentless action, and iconic style, The Whole Bloody Affair stands as one of cinema’s definitive revenge sagas—rarely shown in its complete form, and now presented with a classic intermission,” concludes the synopsis.

In addition to the movie’s forthcoming VOD release, The Whole Bloody Affair will receive a physical release. This will be perfect for fans looking to permanently add the Kill Bill supercut to their home video collection.

Aaron Gershman of Lionsgate dropped the Whole Bloody Affair physical release news while speaking with Steelbook Obsessed last month. The movie will receive a 4K release with “a very deluxe, elaborate box set” filled with “a lot of stuff inside it, a lot of fun content.” A simple retail version will also be released. Gershman noted that the physical release will happen later in 2026.

Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair arrives on VOD platforms on Feb. 17.
