Jeremiyah Love stands as the most anticipated prospect from the Notre Dame Fighting Irish for the 2026 NFL draft, with predictions placing this standout running back within the Top 10 picks.

Love’s exceptional speed allows him to outpace defenders effortlessly, while his reliable hands make him a dual-threat as a receiver. Combined with his robust physicality, he is poised to be a versatile three-down asset in the professional arena.

During Notre Dame’s Pro Day on Tuesday, when asked about what NFL teams can expect from him beyond the field, Love offered a humble response, choosing to keep his answer straightforward.

Thanks for the submission!

However, Love kept things simple when asked what NFL teams can expect from him off the field during Notre Dame’s Pro Day on Tuesday.

“I’m a pretty simple guy,” Love said. “You draft me, I’m not doing too much of anything other than football. Outside of football, I’ll go out here and there, but my perfect day after a game is going home, playing video games, talking to whoever I want and watching anime. I’m a simple guy, (and) you’re going to get strictly a football player with me.”

He added that he is committed to giving his all without being a distraction.

“I’m going to take it very seriously, and I’m going to give you my all, and I’m not going to cause you any trouble,” Love said.

Love turned heads at the NFL combine with a 4.36-second 40-yard dash, the second-fastest among his position group. However, the rusher wasn’t satisfied, revealing he had his sights set on 4.20.

After elite combine, Jeremiyah Love continues to boost stock at Notre Dame Pro Day

Jeremiyah Love continues to climb the draft boards. After an elite showing at the NFL combine in February, he had another strong performance at Notre Dame’s Pro Day on Tuesday, strengthening his case as a likely Top 10 selection.

Love displayed his all-around skill set, making plays as a runner and a receiver. His 4.36-second 40-yard dash at the combine remains a clear reminder of the game-breaking speed he’ll bring to the NFL.

Love was one of the most dominant players in college football last season, finishing with 1,372 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns. He also had a strong 2024 campaign, rushing for over 1,100 yards and 17 scores, and capped off his 2025 season as the Heisman Trophy runner-up.

Love was ranked by ESPN as its No. 1 prospect. Among teams at the top of the draft, the Arizona Cardinals (No. 3) and Tennessee Titans (No. 4) stand out as potential landing spots.
