Three teenagers have been charged with murder and armed robbery after the alleged stabbing death of a man in Melbourne’s south-east earlier this month.

Timothy Leek was found with serious stab wounds at Marriott Waters Shopping Centre in Lyndhurst on March 14 after an alleged altercation with a group of men about 8.30pm.

The 24-year-old was rushed to hospital, where he died.

Two 18-year-old men from Seaford and Cranbourne North were arrested early this morning at a hotel in Box Hill.

A 17-year-old boy from the southeastern suburbs was then arrested in the Dandenong area.

All three teens were questioned by police and charged with murder and armed robbery.

The charges relate to the alleged stabbing of Leek as well as a convenience store robbery in Boronia earlier in the day.

Police believe Leek was known to his attackers.

The two men arrested today were due to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.

The 17-year-old will appear at a children’s court at a later date.
