In a parallel development, a 49-year-old man from Aldinga voluntarily appeared at a police station, leading to his arrest.

Following his arrest, he was transported to a hospital by ambulance.

Authorities secured his hands in cuffs and covered them with paper bags, likely to maintain the integrity of any evidence.

The man is now facing a murder charge and has been denied bail.
