Lord of the Rings fans can now stay in the iconic hobbit hole of Hobbiton in New Zealand.
Nestled in the picturesque pastures of New Zealand’s Waikato region on a 2,500 acre working farm, the iconic set used in the film adaptations of J.R.R. Tolkien’s books bears a striking resemblance to Tolkien’s magical Shire world.
Usually only open during the day for LOTR-loving tourists, the general manager of Hobbiton Russell Alexander will launch three stays via Airbnb in celebration of the 10th anniversary of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
The two-night stays are set to take place on March 2-4, 9-11 and 16-18 2023. Â
