American superstar Lizzo made a very low-key arrival on the Gold Coast ahead of their scheduled appearance at a major Australian event this week.

The star, who is a chart-topping musician and businesswoman, attempted to fly under the radar on Wednesday as she exited her private jet wearing a brown tracksuit with the hood worn up.

The About Damn Time hitmaker, 35, is set to perform at Byron Bay’s Splendour in the Grass on Friday, as she continues her Special tour of Australia and New Zealand.

She was joined at the airport on Wednesday by members of her entourage, who helped her descend the steps of her private jet.

After reaching the tarmac, the Good As Hell singer was guided into the back of a black car.

It comes after Lizzo charmed Aussie fans by pronouncing the word ‘Melbourne’ correctly while on-stage performing at the Victorian Capital earlier this week.

In footage of the concert shared to TikTok, she said: ‘Now Melbourne. Can I get extra points for not saying Mel-born? Mel-bin!’

Fans went wild with the crowd screaming in joy over Lizzo’s ‘respectful’ nod to the Australian accent.

Others flocked to the comments of the TikTok video to praise her further with one person writing, ‘Melbin represent,’ while someone else simply said: ‘Melbin.’

It came just moments after the About Damn Time hitmaker overcame a major technical glitch like a pro.

The singer was forced to perform her hit Truth Hurts in relative darkness after her spotlight went out.

‘Can the lights come back on?’ she asked her production crew, reported the Herald Sun.

‘Did we pay the light bill, b**ch?’ she added, which was met by rapturous laughter from the sold-out crowd.

However, the star didn’t let it derail her show as she then told the audience to ‘use your imagination’ before performing in darkness.

While her team scrambled to fix the issue, Lizzo took to the moshpit to sign autographs and take selfies until the problem was rectified.

In usual Lizzo style, the American songstress said that her mission for the night was to spread self-love and positivity.
