Kyle Sandilands’s association with ARN Media has come to an abrupt end following a 14-day suspension from KIIS FM. The radio host’s contract has been terminated, a move that Sandilands strongly contests.

In a statement issued earlier today, Sandilands expressed his discontent with the contract termination. “ARN has just announced that they’ve terminated my contract. I don’t accept it. My lawyers told them last week this would be invalid. And guess what? It is,” he declared.

Sandilands elaborated on the situation, explaining, “Here’s what really happened. Jackie and I had an on-air disagreement. It’s something we’ve done countless times over the past 25 years. But ARN decided to escalate the situation. They fired Jackie and suspended me. They even prevented me from contacting her or anyone else involved with the show.”

He continued, “What frustrates me the most is that after making it impossible for the show to continue, they blame me for not resolving the issue and then say, ‘You’re fired!'”

“Then – and this is the bit that gets me – once they’d made it impossible for the show to go on, they turn around and say, “You didn’t fix it. You’re fired!”
