The appearance came weeks after being labelled a copycat by Sydney celebrity chef Nagi Maehashi.

Bellamy’s accused of ripping off caramel slice and baklava recipies from Maehashi, who went public with the allegations on her world-famous food blog RecipeTin Eats.

Another US baker also claimed Bellamy plagiarised her vanilla cake method and the sour stoush went viral on social media.

Now, it seems the bakehouse queen is simply letting the cookie crumble.

“Yeah, I mean, onwards and upwards,” Brooke Bellamy told 9News.

“I worked really hard on the book and really hard on the business so just going to keep moving forward positively.”

The popular baker said she hadn’t answered questions about the allegations because “I cannot”.

“Well there’s also, there’s other parties involved,” Bellamy told 9News.

While this is the first time we’ve heard from Bellamy in person, she’s long denied the allegations on social media.

The popular baker addressed the feud again online, a few hours after chatting with 9News.

“I cannot say that I have invented the cookies, cupcakes, brownies, or cakes in the recipe book,” she told fans on TikTok.

“They are all inspired from somewhere and someone before me. “I never subscribe to be a part of a narrative that pits two women against each other, especially in the same industry.”
