Breaking News: Gun Violence Erupts in Western Sydney as Two Homes Targeted

An investigation is under way after two homes in Sydney’s west were sprayed with bullets overnight, with the dual shootings believed to be linked.

In the early hours, police responded to a shooting incident on Columbine Avenue in Punchbowl after receiving reports around 2:45 a.m. that multiple gunshots had been fired into a house.

According to initial information, individuals in an unidentified vehicle opened fire on the residence’s facade before quickly leaving the area.

Approximately 15 minutes later, at 3:00 a.m., authorities were alerted to another shooting at a residence on Noble Avenue in Greenacre, roughly 3.5 kilometers from Punchbowl.

Similar to the first incident, occupants of an unidentified car discharged several shots into this second home.

The vehicle departed the scene before law enforcement could arrive.

Nobody was injured in either shooting.

A crime scene has been established at both scenes.

Investigators believe that the shootings are linked.

Police have urged anyone with dashcam vision from the Punchbowl or Greenacre areas between 2.30am and 3.30am to contact police.
