A beloved Australian beer, Little Creatures Little Hazy Lager, has been recalled due to concerns that its cans may rupture unexpectedly.

Lion – Beer, Spirits & Wine Pty Ltd, the company behind the brew, has announced the recall for 375ml cans of this popular lager. This product has been available at Dan Murphy’s and BWS outlets across New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, and Western Australia, as well as at IGA stores in New South Wales. Additionally, Coles has stocked this beer in Western Australia.

Consumers are advised not to open cans that bear the best before date of November 10, 2025, as these are the ones affected by the recall.

Coles has also sold it in Western Australia.

But cans with a best before date of 10/11/2025 shouldn’t be opened.

“Products affected may contain excess alcohol and carbonation, which can lead to over-pressurisation of the can,” NSW Food Authority said.

“This may cause the can to burst, potentially resulting in injury.”

Cans shouldn’t be opened but should be thrown away.
