Education Minister Jason Clare has expressed strong disapproval, stating, “The idea of these rallies or protests occurring is simply inconceivable.”

Victoria Police has announced a robust presence will be deployed throughout the city, emphasizing that any form of illegal activity will not be tolerated.

NSW Police have also issued warnings to those planning to attend unauthorised gatherings this weekend in Sydney.

“Fifteen lives have already been lost, with several individuals still hospitalized and numerous others injured. What this country needs now is compassion, not hatred or demonstrations,” Clare remarked.

He urged the Victorian government to take all necessary actions to prevent these protests from materializing.

“Any sensible Australian would recognize that this is utterly inappropriate and should never have been considered,” Clare asserted.

“So I’m hoping that it just doesn’t happen.”

Former federal treasurer and prominent Jewish Victorian Josh Frydenberg has voiced his displeasure with the rally, saying it is unthinkable that the government would not intervene.
