Shock CCTV shows moment man is snatched off the street in Sydney

Shocking CCTV has emerged of the moment a man was abducted on a suburban street in Sydney’s south-west.

Surveillance video captures a dramatic scene as a white SUV pulls up, and three individuals emerge from the vehicle.

The group then forcefully seizes a man who was en route to a gym, swiftly ushering him into the SUV.

Reports indicate that the man was held against his will for a total of four days.

9News first learned about the kidnapping last Thursday. However, they honored a request from the police to withhold broadcasting the story for operational reasons.

During the man’s ordeal, law enforcement officials formed a specialized task force to delve into the case and work towards locating the victim.

The man was allegedly held captive for four days. (9News)

It’s also been alleged that the victim’s family received ransom demands.

The man, who 9News understands was not known to police, has now been released.

The three suspects seen on the CCTV footage remain on the run.
