Chabad Bondi has announced the schedule for three funerals set to take place today.
The first ceremony, beginning at 9 am AEDT, will honor Alex Kleytman.
Kleytman, aged 87 and a Holocaust survivor, was the oldest individual affected by the tragedy.
His memorial service is planned at Chevra Kadish, located at 172 Oxford Street, Woollahra, and will be succeeded by a procession to the burial site.
At noon AEDT, Matilda, who was just 10 years old and the youngest victim, will be commemorated. Her funeral will also occur at Chevra Kadisha on Oxford Street in Woollahra.
This will be followed by a burial service at Eastern Suburbs Memorial Park, Chapel Avenue, Matraville, at 1pm, and a gathering at the cemetery’s function centre at 2pm.
And the funeral for Tibor Weitzen will be held at 2pm at Chabad of Bondi, 105a Wellington Street, Bondi, from 2pm.
Weitzen, a 78-year-old great grandfather, died shielding a family friend, who also lost her life.
