A 32-year-old man is in critical condition following an alleged stabbing incident in the northern area of Adelaide.
The attack occurred around 4:30 p.m. yesterday. The victim managed to reach a neighbor’s home in Elizabeth North, prompting a response from emergency services.
He has been transported to the hospital, where he remains in a life-threatening state.
Authorities took a man into custody concerning the incident but subsequently released him without filing charges.
This incident was one of two stabbings reported in Adelaide yesterday, with another involving a 48-year-old in a parking lot.
The man was reportedly intervening in a domestic dispute when he was stabbed in the stomach with a knife.
A 20-year-old man was subsequently arrested, and is expected to be charged.
“The parties in each event are known to each other and there is no risk to the community,” a police spokesperson said.
“Both matters are currently under investigation and no further comment will be provided.”
