Traveling often brings joy through the discovery of new cultures, tasting diverse cuisines, and exploring breathtaking landscapes.

However, a recent report highlights specific destinations where tourists experience the greatest happiness.

The Happiness List 2026, compiled by G Adventures, reveals ten unique experiences and locations that particularly delight travelers.

The travel company conducted a survey involving 8,000 adults planning their trips for next year, spanning the UK, Ireland, the United States, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia.

Guatemala emerged as a favored destination, celebrated for creating unforgettable memories and offering a deep dive into its rich cultural and culinary offerings.

A colder destination, the Arctic was also mentioned on the report. Travellers enjoy  taking in the icy views and exploring on expedition cruises.

Elsewhere, Ecuador, in South America, gives tourists the chance to experience the jungle first-hand.

What’s more, it’s a great place to try the local chocolate, with the country being a big producer of cocoa.

The spectacular natural phenomenon will occur from Galicia to Mallorca, according to Majorca Daily Bulletin.

Sri Lanka’s bountiful coast is worth exploring by boat, too and is brimming with wildlife and plenty of villages to stop by along the way.
