A former police officer from New South Wales has been charged following an alleged incident involving drunk driving, which resulted in a car losing control and crashing into four parked vehicles in Sydney’s western suburbs.

Video footage captured the dramatic scene as a blue utility vehicle collided with a stationary car and then flipped several times along Campbell Hill Road in Chester Hill, striking additional vehicles in its path shortly after 5 p.m. on Monday.

“It’s terrible, unbelievable. The speed is 50 or 60 here,” a local resident remarked to 9News.
