“I still don’t want it to be true… I’ll never have a friend like Alan again,” close friend Mark Parsons said.

McKenna’s Moroccan fiancée, Majda, says he suffered a fatal heart attack, however his family and friends are yet to receive an official death certificate or a coroner’s report.

They have been informed that McKenna’s body was buried in a Casablanca cemetery two days after his death.

Parsons says the circumstances are usual, and wants his remains to be brought back to Adelaide.

“It’s essential… I need to be able to have a memorial with them, a funeral, a place to go visit,” he stated.
