Heroic Rescue Mission: Teenager Pulled from Perilous Sydney Blowhole

A rescue operation is under way after a teenager was reportedly swept off rocks and sucked into a notorious blowhole in Sydney’s north.

Authorities were alerted to the Warriewood blowhole around 1:15 PM after a bystander heard cries for assistance and dialed Triple Zero.

According to reports from 9News, a teenage boy was near the rock formations at the blowhole when he was unexpectedly swept into the turbulent waters below.

Rescue teams had to navigate a challenging climb down a steep cliff to reach the young boy, who had landed at the base of a cave.

The boy, believed to be in his early teens, sustained several injuries including cuts on his legs and a head wound.

Rescue operations are underway to airlift the boy from the cave to the safety of the cliff top.
