Adelaide Oval has announced its new food and drink prices for the 2025 AFL season, introducing a collaboration with Vili’s to offer cheaper pies while increasing the cost of beer, wine, and hot chips.

The new kiosk menu, featuring a price drop for Vili’s pies, is designed to provide affordable options for families attending day games.

However, other items have seen costs head in the other direction.

A full-strength beer now costs $10.90, up from $9.90 last year. Wine has increased by $1.50, from $9 to $10.50, while a bottle of water is now $5.70, a 30-cent increase from last year’s $5.40.

Hot chips have also jumped in price by 25 cents, from $6.70 to $6.95, making them 40 per cent more expensive than what they cost at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne.

Despite these price increases, Adelaide Oval maintains that it still offers the cheapest pint of full-strength beer compared to other major stadiums in the country.

It’s blamed the price rises on inflation and is hoping fans will understand the situation.

“We do think long and hard about ways to make it as palatable as possible for fans, we appreciate, just like us, they’re suffering,” Adelaide Oval chief executive Nick Addison said.
