Hunt for driver responsible for allegedly ploughing into two pedestrians

A man and woman were hit by a car at a business along Finucane Road in Alexandra Hills, west of Brisbane around 11.30pm yesterday.

The 25-year-old woman suffered serious injuries and was rushed to hospital for treatment.

A 24-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A white 2004 Mitsubishi Pajero with the Queensland registration 015 BE4 was seen leaving the scene around the time of the alleged crash, Queensland Police said.

”Police are appealing to the driver, or anyone with information about the vehicle or the incident, to come forward,” police said.

The investigation is continuing.
