A dramatic manhunt is underway in New South Wales’ north-east after a deadly shooting incident left one man dead and two others wounded. Authorities have launched an extensive search following reports of gunfire on Tyalgum Road in Eungella, situated to the south-west of Tweed Heads, around 1:25 p.m.

According to initial police findings, the violent altercation involved a shooter targeting two men, aged 41 and 38. The assailant subsequently fled the scene alongside a fourth individual, igniting concerns about public safety and prompting a swift police response.

Emergency medical teams arrived swiftly but, despite their best efforts, the 41-year-old man succumbed to his injuries on site. His identity has not yet been confirmed by officials.
