Married At First Sight's Jacqui Burfoot suffers a bad hair day as she steps out for coffee in Sydney before her shock couple swap scandal

Married At First Sight bride Jacqui Burfoot proved she is just like the rest of us when she stepped out for a coffee in Sydney.

The New Zealand lawyer appeared to be suffering from a bad hair day during the solo outing.

Despite her path to romance with groom Ryan Donnelly being rocky, she appeared in good spirits.

In photos snapped during filming, Jacqui, 29, looked chuffed to be keeping her own company while Ryan was nowhere to be seen.

Jacqui appeared to be in quite the breezy mood – a far cry from her angry and tearful display during Wednesday night’s explosive dinner party.

She cut a stylish figure, wearing a form-fitting long black top that exposed a hint of midriff.

She teamed it with a pair of plain white flared jeans and matching white sneakers.

Jacqui finished her look with a long caramel-coloured coat worn over her shoulders.

The wide lapelled garment finished just below her knees and added an air of chic sophistication to the ensemble.

She had her blonde locks back in a ponytail for the outing, however she appeared to be having quite an unfortunate bad hair day during a windy Sydney day.

Jacqui’s hair swirled around as she walked the streets with a coffee in hand.

She had stopped by a nearby cafe to grab what appeared to be a large take-away cold brew coffee.

Shock details recently resurfaced proving that Jacqui has moved on with groom Clint Rice.

They were pictured out in Tasmania together, and Jacqui exposed the romance when she shared a post to Instagram on December 16, after filming but prior to Channel Nine commandeering her account.

The images, innocuous enough at first glance, showed a beaming Jacqui posing in a colourful dress.

‘Hi I’m Jacqui. Next chapter’s for the plot,’ she cryptically posted.

However, Jacqui was posing in a bar room in Clint’s swanky Tasmanian estate that the businessman has shared on his social media previously.

Back in September 2024, he shared a ‘fly-through video’ of his swanky digs, with the bar room that is clearly visible in Jacqui’s images.

Further, another photo, shared to his dog’s Instagram account FurSeasonClub, showed a picture of Clint’s lounge room.

A woman, who appears to be Jacqui, can be seen in the reflection of the television, snapping a selfie.

Daily Mail Australia revealed this month that Jacqui wasted no time ditching her TV husband Ryan and has already relocated to Tasmania to start a new life with Clint, a former pro golfer turned successful businessman.

The scandal is said to have left Ryan blindsided, ruined Clint and Lauren’s wedding storyline and thrown the entire season into disarray.

Jacqui and Clint’s relationship has escalated at lightning speed.

She has reportedly quit her job, packed up her life in Sydney and moved into Clint’s luxury estate, which boasts a tennis court, golf simulator, and home theatre.

An insider confirmed: ‘Jacqui and Clint have a natural chemistry. She’s empathetic, a great communicator, and driven – Clint is exactly the same.

‘They share so many common interests – tennis, wineries, documentaries, even their love for dumplings. They’ve barely spent a night apart since filming wrapped.’

The couple are even reportedly planning to launch a business together, using Clint’s experience from selling a successful golf distribution company in 2023.
