Both the khaki and black versions of this bottle have been recalled due to safety concerns.

The potential hazard arises when the bottle is filled with hot liquids, which might cause the threading on the lid to contract, potentially turning the lid into a projectile.

This situation poses a risk of burns if the hot liquid inside is spilled, as highlighted by Product Safety Australia.

The safety agency’s recall notice mentioned that “incidents have occurred,” although it did not specify whether any injuries have been reported thus far.

Customers are advised to not use the bottle to contain hot liquids and to return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
