The passenger allegedly wanted to use the bathroom.

He then allegedly pushed the crew member, with the incident being reported to the flight captain, who requested the removal of the man from the flight.

Subsequently, the man was met by officers from the Australian Federal Police, who ultimately removed him from the plane.

He was charged with one count of assaulting a crew member.

In Western Australia, the crime carries a maximum sentence of 14 years’ imprisonment.

The man is scheduled to appear before Perth Magistrates Court today.
