A 45-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder on Queensland’s Fraser Coast.
A manhunt was underway for an alleged gunman after a 43-year-old man was shot in Maryborough about 9pm on January 13.
Police believe the alleged shooter then fled the scene on an e-scooter.
The victim was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
On Saturday, police arrested a 45-year-old man riding an e-scooter on Churchill Street.
He was taken to Maryborough Watchhouse and charged with one count of attempted murder.
He is expected to appear at Maryborough Magistrates Court today.
Following his arrest, police stormed a business on Adelaide Street where they allegedly found a 3D-printed gun, ammunition and meth.
A 52-year-old man was arrested at the scene and charged with multiple offences including one count each of unlawful possession of weapons, stealing, obstructing police and receiving tainted property firearm/ammunition, as well as two counts of possessing dangerous drugs.
He is also expected to appear at the same court later today.
Investigations are ongoing.
