A 35-year-old man from Lidcombe in western Sydney was arrested at Melbourne Airport the next day.

He has since been interviewed by police and was today charged with murder, as well as affray and assault related offences.

The man was remanded in custody to face Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 4 September.

The investigation remains ongoing.
