A 49-year-old man finds himself fighting for his life after reportedly being attacked outside a hotel situated in Sydney’s southern region. The shocking incident unfolded just before 10 p.m., drawing a swift response from emergency services to the scene along Forest Road in Hurstville.
Upon arrival, paramedics immediately rendered aid to the seriously injured man, stabilizing him enough to transport him to St George Hospital. There, he remains in a serious but stable condition, currently under an induced coma while medical professionals work tirelessly to ensure his recovery.
According to police reports, the unfortunate events began when the man, who was a guest at the hotel, stepped outside to address a motorcyclist about the excessive noise emanating from his vehicle. This seemingly trivial encounter quickly escalated into violence.
In a startling turn of events, after the motorcycle was moved, the rider allegedly returned and assaulted the man before swiftly departing the scene on his motorcycle. Authorities are now investigating the incident, seeking to bring the alleged assailant to justice.
After moving the motorcycle, the male rider approached the man and allegedly assaulted him before getting back on the motorcycle and leaving the scene.
Neither men are believed to be known to the other.
