People in Melbourne have felt the shakes of a rare earthquake on Sunday night.
Geoscience Australia said the 3.8-magnitude quake struck 3km deep in the northern suburb of Sunbury.
Initially, the United States Geological Survey had recorded it as a 3.6-magnitude earthquake more than 9km deep.

Melbourne residents were quick to comment on social media about feeling the tremble, with many making light of how light the rumble was.
“Yep. We felt it too,” the Victoria State Emergency Service posted on Twitter.
The crowdsourcing site Earthquake Network recorded at least 53 reports of people who felt the quake, within a radius of 48km.
