Two thieves are on the run after breaking into a home in Adelaide’s west on Friday.

A brave neighbour tried to intervene after the intruders smashed a window of a home on Third Avenue in Seaton, west Adelaide, at around 1pm.

Footage shows the man trying to confront the thieves during the incident.

“I’m recording everything, you will be caught,” the neighbour said.

“I’m going to call the police… I’m telling you. Everybody, there are thieves here.”

The homeowner only narrowly missed the break-in after leaving home just 10 minutes before the thieves arrived.

Crime Scene Investigators attended the scene following a report made to police.

No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.
