Grace Hayden is continuing to follow her father’s footsteps in the sporting industry, landing a new role as a presenter.

The 22-year-old budding TV presenter has scored a new gig as the lead presenter for international Hong Kong-based digital platform, Racing X.

Her role will see her travel the globe covering different sporting events in places like Saudi Arabia, New Zealand and Las Vegas.

While she may be the daughter of legendary cricket star and commentator Matthew Hayden, 53, Grace insists that she has plenty of experience for the job.

‘All of the iconic sporting cricket grounds were kind of my playground growing up, so it was all I ever knew,’ Hayden told The Daily Telegraph.

‘Now that I am working in sport and cricket, I realise just how amazing my dad was, still is, but was at his craft, and I just didn’t appreciate that when I was little.

‘Dad is always super proud of me in everything I do.’

Grace has quickly made a a name for herself in the television and fashion industries.

Her breakout role as Channel Seven’s Oaks Day Ambassador in 2022 propelled her into the spotlight.

She has since become a part of the Seven horse racing team, where she works as a fashion reporter during its spring carnival racing coverage.

She is currently dating Wilson Statham, who is the son of Queensland cotton moguls Danielle and David Statham.

Grace and Wilson went public with their romance at the Randwick races on April 6 and were spotted a month later holding hands at a Sydney pub.

Wilson’s parents, Danielle and David, own and operate the Sundown Pastoral Company, a family run but privately owned cotton and cropping enterprise.

Their empire spans over 70,000ha across Queensland and northern NSW.

Grace’s romance with Wilson blossomed mere months after her rumoured fling with Hawthorn premiership star-turned-racing expert Campbell Brown.

The pair were both racing ambassadors for Ladbrokes Summer Racing Festival in Tasmania and were photographed dancing together at the festival launch in November days after reports emerged that Brown’s marriage had ended.

The pair were understood to have known each other the last two years and both attended the Royal Ascot races back in June 2023.

The Herald Sun reported in November that Brown had reportedly told his wife he had ‘fallen out of love’ with her.

The couple, who share three children together, had been together for 19 years and married for ten. His wife was reportedly ‘devastated’ and ‘blindsided’ by the breakup.

‘It’s all so raw and came out of nowhere,’ a source told the Herald Sun at the time.

The pair’s eldest son Boston is six years old, and middle son Baker is two. Their youngest, Bailey, was born in August 2023.
