Darcy Jenson, 27, was arrested in Jakarta after allegedly trying to flee Indonesia.
He is one of three Australians now in custody over the deadly shooting at a luxury Bali villa that left an Australian man dead and another injured.
Jenson was educated at St Patrick’s College in Strathfield, where he excelled in Italian.
He finished his trade and started his own plumbing business in 2020.
Just three weeks ago, Jenson was in Sydney playing AFL for the Parramatta Goannas.
His side took on Manly, and he kicked two goals.
9News briefly spoke with his father today in Granville.
He said it was not in his family’s best interest to make a comment.
Zivan Radmanovic, 32 was killed in a Bali villa just after midnight on Saturday.
His friend Sanar Ghanim, 34, was also shot and beaten in the attack.
Alongside Jenson, two other Australians have been charged with murder.
Coskun Mevlut, 23, was arrested in Singapore, while Tupou Pasa Midolmore, 37, was also arrested overseas and brought back to Bali.
The Australian suspects face charges of premeditated murder, which carries a maximum penalty of death in Indonesia.
